Midwest Camera Guys started with a simple idea, building a business centered around wedding photography. What began as a team of three has since grown into a one-man operation, led by me, Tristyn.
Over time, this business has turned into so much more than just weddings. I’ve had the opportunity to capture all kinds of moments. From engagements, senior and graduation portraits, and family sessions, to newborns, small businesses, cars, sports, pets… honestly, if you’ve got an idea, I’m all in.
I love bringing people’s visions to life and creating photos that feel real, personal, and meaningful.
Videography is also something I’ve recently started offering, and I’m excited to continue growing in that area as well.

My photography journey started with my mom taking photos of me playing soccer growing up. I was always amazed at how cool those moments looked frozen in time, that’s really where it all began.
Eventually, I picked up a few Nikon DSLRs and started learning on my own, which led me to where I am today shooting on a Sony A7III and A7RIII.
Since I started in high school, photography has become more than just a hobby, it’s been a form of therapy for me. It allows me to slow down, get creative, and see the world differently.
My favorite part is finding the little details and moments that most people pass by every day, and turning them into something meaningful.
